Other Interdependence Day Events

Interdependence Day events took place last year not just in Rome, but in Ghana, New Zealanad, and in a number of schools and colleges in the U.S.

Past Interdependence Day host cities include Budapest, where noted pianist Andras Schiff gave a concert dedicated to Interdependence Day and civil society. A roundtable of individuals from leading NGOs and the Hungarian Parliament was organized by Ivan Vitanyi, member of Parliament. The day also included the participation Arpad Goncz, the first President of democratic Hungary.

Events were also organized in Scranton, PA, at the University of Maryland, College Park, Roosevelt University in Chicago, and at SUNY Stony Brook and two essay contests were held in honor of Interdependence Day in Philadelphia and Tajikistan.

Get Involved
Currently we are promoting other Interdependence Day celebrations and would love for college campuses, high schools, communities, and religious groups to get involved.

Be part of it! Find out what you can do to mobilize your fellow citizens to plan your own Interdependence Day.
